New Things at The Heber Thing!

When not in use by corporate/recreational clients, The Heber Thing will serve Heber Springs as a Community Cooperative. The people of Heber will help design and implement their own programs & ideas and put them into place with the help of Dayna Marcum and The Heber Thing. Programs directly benefit the community from the hearts and minds of the residents themselves. One may enter into to the co-op via a $35 monthly membership to bring ideas, utilize programs at discounted rates, volunteer and provide talents to the programs designed by the cooperative as a whole and its sponsoring companies. The first Co-Op:
Community Kid-Sitting Program
5$ per child/hour (3 hr limit)
Hosted @ The Heber Thing
(times/days TBD by Members)

Jackie mentioned this is needed in the community at The Heber Thing Ribbon Cutting.

Before we begin the program we will need at least 30 members and 5-7 kid-sitters to rotate. Each member utilizing this program will serve twice monthly as the Primary Kid-Sitter, and less often as membership grows. Non-Member Kid-Sitters receive 1/2 of the funds raised per setting, divided among themselves. Additional 1/2 goes into the co-op fund. Sign-up/Pay for Classes/Trainings & Reserve The Heber Thing

All classes at The Heber Thing are distributed to market by Local Reach LLC, its web marketing sponsor. A distribution % of the sales from class attendance is given to all instructors participating in the Program.
